Physicians’ Medical Center of the Ozarks is an ambulatory surgery center providing appropriate patient care in the Mountain Home area. The new medical center’s diagnostic testing center is an expansion of Dr. Stacey Johnson’s nuclear cardiology medical practice, which he established in Mountain Home in 1980. The 19,000 square foot medical center is in the heart of the medical community in Mountain Home. Located in a well-known retirement and vacation region, the Physicians' Medical Center of the Ozarks serves residents efficiently, without delay, and also welcomes patients who are visitors to the area's natural attractions - two lakes, three rivers, and four seasons of beauty.
The PMC ambulatory surgery center is available to board certified/eligible surgeons in most specialties. It is designed to create an ideal environment for outpatient surgery with patient pre-admission testing offices and comfortable family waiting areas. PMC provides patient privacy and comfort in six private pre-op and recovery rooms. The heart catheterization laboratory is fully equipped for all necessary procedures.
Surgical procedures for the ambulatory patient can be scheduled at the surgeon’s and patient’s convenience in the most modern, highly equipped facilities available in the area, Physicians’ Medical Center of the Ozarks. A variety of surgical procedures are performed at PMC.
